Overview
Two types of voltage available: 100 V and 14 V. Can be used according to the operating environment.
Features
Use this heater in places where there is no space for a heater.
Even though it is smaller than a small coin, it has the power to heat up to 140°C.
CAUTION
Environment for operating or storing the product
Care must be taken when installing and storing in places where corrosive gases are generated or where there is a lot of dust may cause insulation deterioration, corrosion, etc.
The placing location
Leave a space between the heater and other parts in order to avoid them being affected by the generated heat.
How to handle the product
- Be careful to avoid any impact that may cause damage to the product.
- The exterior of the filler of this heater is water repellent. However, since the exterior encloses the porous inside, it is different from common polymeric resins in terms of moisture permeability, absorption of surfactants, and absorption of solvents, fats and oils.
- Do not wash the surface of the filler with detergent. (Surfactants such as detergents soak into the filler. The soaked detergent cannot escape to the outside, resulting in deteriorated insulation of the filler. Depending on the nature of the detergent, the heating element may be destroyed.)
- Do not use a substrate cleaning agent that contains materials that damage metals. (Ingredients that damage residual metals may damage the heating element. Basically, cleaning with water is recommended.)
- Do not allow oil, etc., to get into the filler. Depending on the nature of the absorbed oil, insulation may deteriorate or the heating element may be damaged.
Installation
- This heater has water repellent properties, but it is recommended to attach it to a place where the heater is not exposed to water.
※ Heat generation with water droplets attached may cause failure of the heater (a phenomenon such as deterioration of insulation resistance due to damage of the ceramic case may occur). - Be careful not to apply excessive force to the terminals or heater body during installation.
- We cannot confirm operating conditions after the installation of the heater, so do not forget to check it thoroughly before use. If serious damage to human life or the like due to a defect in our product is predicted , please ensure safety by giving due consideration to the fail-safe design described below.
